Readers of the Phototuts+ website share their work, the results of tutorials they’ve completed, and take part in photography and post-processing competitions.
Utata
Utata is a collective of photographers, writers, and like-minded people who share a compelling interest in the arts. You can also find the utata website here. This is a pretty active group with a huge amount of photos. This group currently has 17,789 members, and it’s growing quickly.

Portrait
This group refers to any photo that depicts the face and/or adjacent part of the body, or the entire body, whether sharply recognizable … or artsy, pushing the limits. Here, the face is paramount. Any other body part, by itself, doesn’t qualify as a portrait. This is a great group with some jaw-dropping portraits.

The intent of this group is to feature pictures and discussion surrounding HDR specific technology and tools used for creating or developing high bit HDR images. You might remember this great photography style from one of my previous posts: 25 jaw-dropping HDR photos.
Strobist
This group is part of a great blog called Strobist.com. I’m sure you’re not surprised that light is really important in this group. This group could be ideal to learn more about the delicate settings of light. There is a full lighting course, hundreds of articles and even a section of dozens of photos from real-world assignments with exact instructions on how they were lit with one or two small flashes.

The world through my eyes is a group for both amateurs and professional photographers. This really is a group for all aspects of photography: landscapes, portraits, skylines… There are also plenty of competitions and some great topics to discuss.
