Logo Of The Week: Pink Flamingo Farm

This logo is another example of great use of negative space. The designer of this beautiful logo, Blue Cuevas, used the negative space to create the image of a horse and a flamingo. Blue Cuevas is a graphic designer specializing in logo and brand designs but he also does projects that require other graphic requirements. He is currently freelancing under his blues cue designs persona.

I also found a testimonial of the Pink Flamingo Farm on Blue’s website:

Wonderfully inspired design, great response to my requests for fine-tuning. Result is way beyond my expectations.

I’m not surprised they’re happy with this results, I know I would… If you want see the rest of his portfolio, you should take a look at his website.

It’s a great logo; no doubt. I love the negative space icons that often surface. It’d be great to work on a logo design project where such a solution is viable—like this one.

I wonder, though, if the whole thing would look more unified if the icon appeared on the left, with the text sitting to the right…
