Unfortunately, there isn’t a logo of the week today. But I’ll try to make it up to you with something even better: a short film. This short film is a must-see for every logo design addict out there because it’s absolutely packed with corporate logos. Let’s see how many brands you can spot in this beautifully animated film.
Logorama is a short film that was made by a French graphic design studio called H5. This great short film already won the Kodak Short Film Discovery price at the 2009 Cannes Fim Festival. Every person or object in this film is composed of corporate logos. You’ll see logos from well known companies such as Michelin, Haribo, McDonalds, Bic…
In some way, this short film is a reflection of our daily lives. We come into contact with thousands of logos every day: from the minute we wake up, till the minute we go to bed.
Logotypes are used to describe an alarming universe (similar to the one that we are living in) with all the graphic signs that accompany us everyday in our lives. this over-organized universe is violently transformed by the cataclysm becoming fantastic and absurd. it shows the victory of the creative against the rational, where nature and human fantasy triumph.

[...] Ramblers! Brands are cool. Let’s be honest. Sony is awesome, Apple is chic, and Google is some mix of super cool and super creepy. But they are all around us EVERYWHERE. One of the things that makes brands so indelible in our culture is their logo, it may be a simple word (Sony, Google) or a picture (Apple). Either way, when I say those brand names their logo probably pops into your head.
