Icons Land: Where Icon Is King

There’s nothing more beautiful than a well designed icon. The design process for a beautiful icon can take several hours. Desigining a basic icon doesn’t take very long, but you know what they say: it’s all about the details. The step between a good icon and a great icon can cost you a lot of time. This means that creating icons from scratch can be a tedious and time-consuming task. Luckily there are plenty of websites that offer stock icons. Today we take a look at Icons Land and see what they have to offer.

Responsive Web Design: The Need Of The Hour?

With no assurance as to what medium – desktops, mobile phone, iPad, netbooks, etc – a user is going to use for viewing a site, it has become imperative to produce such a design that appears equally good on all types of devices.
As it is difficult to create separate versions for different screen resolutions or platforms and is also not a great idea if considered practically, it makes sense to go for a feasible option and what else is better than a Responsive web design.

Lomography emphasizes casual, snapshot photography. Characteristics such as over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring, “happy accidents,” and alternative film processing are often considered part of the “Lomographic Technique”.
