Logo Of The Week: Standaard Boekhandel

It’s weekend again, and that means there’s a new logo of the week. This week I came across this great logo. It was made by Thomas, a Belgian designer. This logo is part of a school task where they have to re-design an existing logo. You can see a comparison between the original logo and Thomas’ creation below. I really think this is a massive improvement over the original logo. What do you think?

Logo Of The Week: Isabella

This week I’ve chosen this beautiful typographic logo as the new logo of the week. This lovely logo was made by Joe Prince. He made this for a friend (probably Isabella…). I really like the simplicity and elegance of this logo. It somehow has a sense of sophistication that you don’t always see in other logos.

Logo Of The Week: Antarctica

It’s weekend and that means it’s time to pick another logo of the week. This time the honour goes to William Patino, who created this awesome Antarctica logo. If you look closely, you’ll see that the penguin forms the letter ‘a’. I really like this logo because it’s simple, yet really creative.

Logo Of The Week: Portrait Photos

Because it’s photography weekend this weekend, I was kind of obliged to pick a photography-related logo. Thankfully, I found this great logo. It was made by Atakan Seckin, a freelance graphic designer from Turkey. He is also selling this logo on Brandstack and he says that this logo would be very good for a photographer who takes portrait photos or a website that is a portrait photos directory.

Logo Of The Week: Nucleus Creations

Nucleus Creations is our new logo of the week. London based company, Nucleus Creations, is a new web development outfit offering professional services to businesses in a variety of industries. This logo represents their name as well as their highly connected, dynamic and agile team.

This great logo was made by David Pache, a.k.a. Dache. He’s a really talented designer from Switzerland. I’m sure you’ve seen plenty of his other creations, such as MediaFactory, GrooveShark and Zipliner.

Logo Of The Week: Saturn Electronics

It’s weekend again, that means there’s a new logo of the week. This time I’ve chosen the Saturn Electronics logo. This logo was made by Andrei Gadoiu, a 23 year old graphic designer living in Romania. He proposed this logo for an electronics store. I’m pretty confident that the client chose this logo, because it will be very hard to come up with something better.

Logo Of The Week: CocoaStuff

It’s time to choose another logo of the week. This time I’ve chosen the CocoaStuff logo. This great logo was made by Denis Olenik, a designer who specializes in business communications services.

CocoaStuff is a software company which is developing and selling high-quality for Apple’s iPhone and Mac. This new logo communicates the core-values of the brand: simplicity, elegance, beauty and quality.
